The company is now recruiting a Sales Director – EMEA, to build on existing market share and drive sales across Europe. Reporting directly into the US based SVP of Global Sales, this role has a dozen reports across multiple European countries.
The Role
- Oversee the Company’s EMEA sales activities.
- Initiate, develop, manage and execute a geographic expansion strategy to significantly grow the Company’s customer base within the Region.
- Hire & build, supervise, coach, and mentor a team of Account Directors across the region of responsibility in the areas of sales strategy, phone and presentation communication, pipeline and activity management.
- Develop in collaboration with the Company’s EMEA Marketing Director located in London a comprehensive marketing and public relation program to support the sales effort.
- Create regional key performance metrics to monitor and measure and drive sales and marketing effectiveness to meet the Company’s sales requirements.
- Reports to SVP of Global Sales.
The Candidate
- Past experience running a dispersed sales operation within the region.
- Proven track record of developing businesses in EMEA market, specifically strong experience and expertise navigating the business environment in Europe.
- Experience developing go-to market strategies, and/or adapting product strategies to satisfy market opportunities.
- Keen understanding of the intricacies of developing aggressive sales and marketing approaches.
- Experience of hiring, managing and motivating sales, marketing and customer support teams.
- A demonstrable track record of managing a fast growing regional business in a B2B service provider company, preferably serving target industries.
- Sales and marketing of a subscription business model – ideally SaaS.
- Use of CRM sales system for pipeline management, budget and headcount supervision (preferably Salesforce.Com).
- Multilingual preferred.
