Our client is one of the world’s leading developers and providers of enterprise technology and solutions.  As part of the push to evangelise their €100m+ local-government and education solutions across the wider European region, they are looking for a Head of EMEA Local Government and Education.

This is an influencing role with a wide, autonomous remit to encourage sales of the delivery of solutions, including consulting services, residencies and business continuity.  This is a strategically vital opportunity to increase market share, so familiarity of working within local public-sector authorities and a deep understanding their needs is a prerequisite.

Requirement:

  • Collaborative corporate relationship builder – experience of influencing and working within a multi-cultural global technology firm in a ‘virtual’, matrixed environment
  • Existing credibility and live network at senior levels across multiple local authorities in at least one major European country
  • An experienced sales leader still closely involved in ‘hands-on’ business development while educating and assisting local sales teams
  • Proven track record in complex high-value, multi-vendor, mixed-solution provision
  • Process oriented with excellent attention to detail
  • High energy self starter comfortable with responsibility and autonomy
  • Pragmatic and commercial negotiator who can balance client requirements against company objectives
  • High degree of travel, predominantly across Europe
  • Fluent English is required as a minimum – German, Italian and additional European languages would be advantageous.
