February 15th 2010 - Renaissance the leading technology and online executive search firm is pleased to announce the appointment of Per Widerstrom as COO of the FTSE 250 Online Gaming business PartyGaming.
Reporting to CEO Jim Ryan, Per will have full P&L responsibility for the Party Brands in Casino, Poker and Sports Betting, and will manage the operations of the PartyGaming Group.
Per brings a wealth of experience, most recently from Mangas / Expekt where he was CEO and Director of Mangas Gaming, Malta. At Expekt he managed the sale of the business to Mangas, a company jointly owned by entrepreneur Stephane Courbit and SBM, the owner of casinos and hotels in Monaco.
Prior to Mangas Per was VP and COO Of Ukrainian mobile operator Kyvistar and CEO of Telenor Mobile in Sweden.
His early career was spent with FMCG giants Coca Cola and P&G.
Per will be based at the PartyGaming headquarters in Gibraltar. Jim Ryan CEO said

Per is highly experienced within the online gaming industry; with his most recent role as CEO and Director of Mangas Gaming, a company not dissimilar in scale and structure to PartyGaming, although with a greater emphasis on sports betting.”
